Zaoyuan Township
Zaoyuan Township, subordinate to Weixian County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of Weixian County, adjacent to Qinghe County in the East, Linxi County in the south, Guxian Township in the West and Liyuantun town in the north. It is 19.7 kilometers away from Weixian County People's government, with a total area of 55.46 square kilometers.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the southern part of Zaoyuan Township belonged to Quzhou County, and jizetun belonged to Jize County; in January 1984, Zaoyuan commune was changed into Zaoyuan township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Zao Yuan Township was 44752. As of June 2020, Zaoyuan countryside has jurisdiction over 36 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 27, Zaoyuan South Street Road, Zaoyuan village.

History of construction
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the southern part of Zaoyuan Township belonged to Quzhou County, and jizetun belonged to Jize county.
In 1940, it belonged to Qizhi county and Weixian county respectively. In 1942, it belonged to Hongyi county. In 1945, it belonged to Weixian county.
In 1949, it was the eighth district.
In 1953, Zaoyuan township was built, belonging to the Second District of Weixian county.
In August 1958, it belonged to Dongfeng commune, which was the management area of jujube garden; in November of the same year, it belonged to Liyuantun commune.
In May 1961, Zaoyuan commune was established from Liyuantun commune.
In January 1984, Zaoyuan commune was changed into Zaoyuan township.
In January 1996, shaogu township was merged into Zaoyuan township.
