Dongshan Street
Dongshan street belongs to Rongcheng City, Weihai City, Shandong Province. It is located in the south of Rongcheng City. It is adjacent to Ningjin street in the East, Taoyuan Street in the south, Chishan street and wanglian street in the West and Longshan Lake in the north. The administrative area is 43.24 square kilometers. By the end of 2011, Dongshan street had a total population of 22330.
In February 1959, it was incorporated into Ningjin commune. In February 1963, it was set aside from Ningjin commune to restore Liushu commune. In May 1964, the residence of the commune was moved to Dongshan and renamed Dongshan commune. In March 1984, it was set up in Dongshan Township. In December 1989, the township was removed and Dongshan Town was established. In 2001, it belongs to Shidao town. In 2005, 31 villages were designated from Shidao town and Dongshan street was set up. As of June 2020, Dongshan street has 29 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2011, the local financial revenue of Dongshan street was 10.12 million yuan, an increase of 24% over the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, we have completed business tax of 2 million yuan, value-added tax of 17 million yuan and enterprise income tax of 800000 yuan. In 2011, the total agricultural output value reached 500 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 8470 yuan.
History of construction
In April 1940, the Anti Japanese democratic government was established, which belonged to the Sixth District of Rongcheng County; in December of the same year, it was changed to the ninth district.
In March of the 20th year of the Republic of China (1941), the township was set up in the contracted area, which belongs to the seventh area, such as Bahe, Liushu, jiazishan and so on.
In February 1942, it belonged to Longshan district.
In October 1945, it was transferred to Shidao special zone.
In November 1946, it was transferred to Shidao city.
In December 1948, the urban area of Shidao shrank and was divided into Rongcheng County, which belongs to Qishan and Jiazi mountainous areas respectively.
In September 1950, it belonged to the 11th and 10th districts.
In March 1951, the township was built under the District, belonging to Taoyuan, Dongshan shuangbang, Longshan, Shihe and other townships in the 11th district and Liushu, Gushan, Shili and other townships in the 12th district.
In April 1954, Shidao county was established and put under the jurisdiction of Shidao county.
In February 1956, Shidao county was abolished and classified as Rongcheng County, still belonging to Chishan and Jiazi mountainous areas.
In January 1957, Hedong Township, Tan Township and Liushu Township in Jiazi mountain area belonged to Chishan district.
From July 1957 to March 1958, Saqu was merged into Hedong Township and Liushu township.
In August 1958, the two townships were merged and named Liushu township; in September of the same year, Dongfanghong commune was established, and in October of the same year, Liushu commune was renamed.
In February 1959, it was incorporated into Ningjin commune.
In February 1963, it was set aside from Ningjin commune to restore Liushu commune.
In May 1964, the residence of the commune was moved to Dongshan and renamed Dongshan commune.
In March 1984, it was set up in Dongshan Township.
In December 1989, the township was removed and Dongshan Town was established.
In 2001, it belongs to Shidao town.
In 2005, 31 villages were designated from Shidao town and Dongshan street was set up.

The sub district office is located at No. 20, Dongshan North Road, Dongshan village.
