Jianchangying Town, belonging to Qian'an City, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Qian'an City, adjacent to Yanggezhuang town in the East, Shangzhuang Township in the south, Dacuizhuang town in the west, Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County of Qinhuangdao city across the Great Wall in the north, with an administrative area of 89.93 square kilometers.
In the third year of Qiandao in the Southern Song Dynasty (1167), an Changying was established. In the early Qing Dynasty, Jian Changying was established. In 1984, the people's commune was abolished and Jian Changying was restored. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Jianchang town was 46933. As of June 2020, Jianchangying town has jurisdiction over 50 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Jianchangying town is located at No. 2, Decai street, Taiping village.

There are Dongsha River and Baiyang River in Jianchangying Town, with a total length of 21.5km, which flow to Qinglong River downstream after confluence at the town boundary. Lengkousha river is 7.2 kilometers long, with a drainage area of 46 square kilometers and a river channel area of 0.94 square kilometers. It flows through 14 villages and leaves Qiaozhuang. Baiyang River is 5.5 kilometers long, with a drainage area of 19.5 square kilometers. It flows through dongmiwu, yaheying, Taiping, Zhangzhuang, Guozhuang and Nandao. Baidaozi reservoir has a water surface of about 32 mu.
