Guojiatun town
Guojiatun town is subordinate to Yutian County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. It is located in the northeast of Yutian County, adjacent to lintoutun Township in the East, liangjiadian town in the southeast, Yutian town in the West and south, and liubeizhai Township in Zunhua City in the north. The administrative area is 83.9 square kilometers.
In 1953, Guojiatun township was established; in May 1983, the people's commune was abolished and Guojiatun township was restored; in February 1993, Dalizhuang township was incorporated. In 2015, Guojiatun township was abolished and Guojiatun town was established. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the town was 35675. As of June 2020, Guojiatun town has jurisdiction over 45 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Guojiatun village.
In 2011, the total revenue of Guojiatun town was 66.92 million yuan, an increase of 33% over the previous year. Among them, the local fiscal revenue was 25.41 million yuan. The per capita net income of farmers is 8410 yuan. In 2018, there were 82 industrial enterprises in Guojiatun Town, including 7 above scale and 62 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1953, Guojiatun township was built.
In 1956, the four townships of xidaquan, yaoguantun, Guojiatun and shaoguantun were merged into shuanglongzhuang and shaoguantun townships.
In 1958, it belonged to Chengguan people's commune.
In 1961, Guojiatun people's commune was established from Chengguan people's commune.
In May 1983, the people's commune was abolished and Guojiatun township was restored.
In February 1993, Dalizhuang township was incorporated into the city.
In 2015, Guojiatun township was abolished and Guojiatun town was established.

History and culture
Guojiatun town is named after the resident village. In the early Yuan Dynasty, Niu established a village called Niu Jiatun. In the Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty, the ancestor of Guo family moved here to settle down. Because there was no successor to Niu family, it was renamed Guojiatun.
