Xingcheng town
Xingcheng Town, subordinate to Zhaozhou County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Songnen Plain, 35 kilometers north of Zhaozhou County, adjacent to Honghe Township, shuangfa Township, Datong District, Daqing City in the East, Shengping Town, Anda City in the north. The total area of the jurisdiction is 3333.65 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 43431 (2018).
At the end of Qing Dynasty, it was called Xu Weizi. In April 1956, urban and rural areas were reformed. In September 1958, the Township Reform commune was established. In October 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In March 1984, the township was transformed into a town, belonging to Zhaozhou county. In February 2011, Xingshan Township in the south of Xingcheng town was included. As of October 2019, Xingcheng town has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages and the government is located in Xujiaweizi village. On May 26, 2020, Xingcheng town was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2020.
