Changning Town, belonging to LUANNAN COUNTY, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of LUANNAN COUNTY, facing Changli County across Luanhe River in the East, bordering songdaokou town in the south, Chengzhuang town in the West and Macheng town in the north, with an administrative area of 53.68 square kilometers.
In May 1946, it belonged to the second and third districts of LUANNAN COUNTY; in July 1984, Changning township was removed from the township to establish a town; in April 1989, Leying township was merged; in February 2002, Macheng administrative district was merged. History of construction
In May 1946, it belonged to the second and third districts of LUANNAN COUNTY.

In July 1954, it was transferred to nine districts of Luanxian county.
