The former Xishi village is a hilly area. It is located in the northwest of the county, 34 ° 32 ′ N and 111 ° 46 ′ E. It is adjacent to Hancheng town in the East, Hedi township of Luoning County in the west, Sanxiang Township in the South and yuangaocun Township in the north, with an area of 47.1 square kilometers and 3761 hectares of cultivated land. The former Xishi village government is located in Xishi village, 43 kilometers away from the county seat, with an altitude of 448 meters. This area is one of the areas where the underground Party of Yiyang County developed earlier. In Ming and Qing Dynasties, shangzhuangbao and zhifangbao belonged to Lianchang District, shangyili and zhiyili respectively. History and culture
Xishi village was once the main channel connecting Shaanxi and Hubei provinces in history. Before the early Republic of China, there were often camel bell motorcades, but later, because of the smooth Longhai railway, they were gradually neglected. After liberation, a wide road from the south to the north of Hancheng to Guanyintang was built on the old line.
Economic overview
Gaocun township is a hilly and mountainous rural area with agriculture as the main body. The soil is red clay and fertile, belonging to the medium and upper fertility land. The climate is characterized by warm in spring, hot in summer, cool in autumn and cold in winter. The four seasons alternate clearly. There are frequent droughts, floods and other disasters.
