Lianghe township is located in the northwest of Hanyuan County, Sichuan Province, on the South Bank of the middle reaches of Liusha river. The township has 5 administrative villages, 28 villager groups, more than 1100 households and a population of more than 4100 people. Most of them live in Hengshan on both sides of Cang and Xuhe rivers, covering an area of 64.4 square kilometers, with 6323 mu of cultivated land and 950 mu of paddy field. The cultivated land per capita is about 1.5 mu. The soil quality, air temperature and water demand are different. There is a central school and a village primary school with 340 students. There are 19 teachers.
