In 1949, Liucun Township belonged to the Second District of Shenze County; in May 1984, the government and society were divided into Liucun township. By the end of 2018, 35104 people had registered residence in the village. As of June 2020, Liucun township has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Southeast Liucun.
In 2011, the investment in fixed assets of the project reached 120 million yuan, the total financial revenue was 16.843 million yuan, the introduced capital was 45 million yuan, and the financial revenue was 14.317 million yuan. History of construction
In 1949, Liucun Township belonged to the Second District of Shenze county.
In 1953, Zhao eight districts were set up.
In 1958, it belonged to zhaoba commune.
In 1961, Liucun commune was established.
In May 1984, the government and society were separated and changed into villages and townships.

History and culture
At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, Liu Xiu once crossed Cihe River to the north and stationed troops here, so he was named Liutun. Later, it was renamed Liucun. Liucun township is named because its people's government is located in Southeast Liucun.
