Xing'an town

Xing'an Town, belonging to Mohe city in Daxing'anling region of Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Mohe city and on the right bank of Heilongjiang Province. It is adjacent to kaikukang township of Tahe County in the East, Amur town in the south, Arctic town in the West and Amur Prefecture of Russia across Heilongjiang Province in the north. It is 69 km long from the border line to guzhan and down to the estuary of xienikang. In 2018, the area of Xingan town was 1985.68 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 1487.

Historical evolution

In the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the vice capital of Heilongjiang.

The highest water level reached 97.5 meters. 4618 square meters of houses on the ancient city island were destroyed, and all the residents on the island were relocated.

From July 15 to 17, 1990, the flood peak of Heilongjiang Province flowed out of the trough, causing the farms of da'he'nan and Gucheng island to flood twice, inundating 547 mu of farmland. Some wheat and corn failed to yield, and the yields of other plots were also affected to varying degrees.
