Yahongqiao town

Yahongqiao Town, belonging to Yutian County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Yutian County, adjacent to Fengdengwu Town, Fengrun District in the East, woluogu town in the south, sanshuitou town in the West and yangjiatao Township in the north, with an administrative area of 62.6 square kilometers.

In 1953, yahongqiao township was built; in May 1984, yahongqiao township was rebuilt; in April 1989, Xingzhuang Township and sungezhuang Township were merged; in February 1993, daheping township was merged. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 57660. As of June 2020, yahongqiao town has jurisdiction over 52 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Hexi village.

History of construction

In 1953, yahongqiao township was built.

In 1958, yahongqiao people's commune was established, and yahongqiao township was originally a management area.

In 1961, the scale of the people's commune was reduced and yahongqiao management area was changed into yahongqiao people's commune.

In May 1983, the people's commune was abolished and yahongqiao township was restored.

In May 1984, the township was withdrawn and rebuilt into yahongqiao town.

In April 1989, Xingzhuang Township and sungezhuang Township were merged.

In February 1993, daheping township was incorporated.
