Chengguan Town
Chengguan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Xinghe County, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the central and southern part of Xinghe County, adjacent to xiamajuan Township and Xiaosuangou town of Shangyi County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province in the East, Xinping town of Tianzhen County, Datong City, Shanxi Province in the south, Zhanggao town and Erdong town in the west, and national unity Township in the north, with an administrative area of 431.46 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was fengshengbao; in 1945, it was changed into Chengguan town; in August 1958, it was established as Chengguan commune; in August 1984, it was changed into Chengguan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Chengguan town was 89396. As of June 2020, Chengguan town has 13 communities and 19 administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Chengguan town was 3750 yuan. In 2018, there were 24 industrial enterprises in Chengguan Town, of which 13 were large-scale and 11 were comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it was fengshengbao.
In 1886, erdaohe inspection department was established.
In 1945, it was changed into Chengguan town.
In 1953, it was the resident of Chengguan District.
In 1957, it was the resident of Chengguan Town, with jurisdiction over 40 natural villages.
In August 1958, Chengguan commune was established.
In August 1984, it was changed into Chengguan town.
In March 2006, Miaozi, haoqian and Ertaizi were merged into Chengguan town.

Chengguan town is located at the northern foot of Yinshan Mountain, with high terrain from east to west and low terrain from north to south. The terrain is mountainous and hilly area. The main mountain ranges are Yinshan Mountain. The highest peak of the mountain is located in xinghuagou village, 2075 meters above sea level; the lowest point is located in yamen, 1069 meters above sea level.

QAR lake, a national 4A scenic spot, is located at yamen, Chengguan Town, Xinghe County, Wulanchabu City, 230 kilometers away from Beijing and 80 kilometers away from Jining district. The resort area is the afterblood of Daqingshan, surrounded by mountains. Chaer lake belongs to the Yongding River system of Haihe River Basin. It is a tributary of the Yanghe River. The largest basin area of the reservoir is 2250 square kilometers, and the largest catchment area is 7.7 square kilometers, accounting for 67.6% of the area of the Dongyang River Basin. The total reservoir capacity is 116 million cubic meters, and the average water depth is 6-9 meters. The tourist resort has a total area of 4400 hectares, including 506 hectares of land, 33.3 hectares of new construction land, 666 hectares of water area and 440 hectares of forest land.
