Shicheng Town

Shicheng Town, belonging to yun'an District, Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, is located in the middle of yun'an District, bordering Yuncheng district in the East, Fulin town and Nanshan Town in the south, and Zhen'an town and Gaocun town in the West. The former Chadong town and Tuodong town were merged on August 13, 2003, with a total area of 181.88 square kilometers.

In October 1958, Fulin Township joined Tuodong township to establish Yunwushan people's commune, Chadong Township merged into Yuncheng town to establish Dongfanghong people's commune. In March 1961, Tuodong people's Commune and Chadong people's commune were established. In 1983, Tuodong district and CHADONG district were set up. In October 1986, Tuodong Township and Chadong town were set up. In October 1992, Tuodong township was changed into Tuodong town. Since the establishment of Yunfu prefecture level city in 1994, Tuodong town and Chadong town are under the jurisdiction of Yuncheng district. In January 1996, Yun'an county was established. Tuodong and Chadong towns are under the jurisdiction of Yun'an county. In August 2003, Tuodong town and Chadong town were merged into Shicheng Town. On August 13, 2003, with the approval of the Department of civil affairs of Guangdong Province, the former Chadong town and Tuodong town were merged to establish Shicheng Town.
