Qingshui Town, belonging to Suzhou District of Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, is the "East Gate" of Suzhou District. It is located in the southeast of Suzhou District, at the north foot of Qilian Mountain, adjacent to Gaotai County of Zhangye City in the East, Qilian Mountain in the south, Qilin township of Sunan Yugur Autonomous County of Zhangye City, fengle township of Suzhou District in the west, Minghua District of Sunan Yugur Autonomous County of Zhangye City in the north, across Badain Jaran Desert The administrative area is 641.52 square kilometers.
It was called qingshuibao in ancient times and was under the jurisdiction of lesu County in the Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms and the Jin Dynasty. In 1983, it was changed into Qingshui township. In 1986, it was changed into Qingshui town. As of June 2020, Qingshui town has a total population of 20227; it has 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Qingshui village.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Qingshui town was 7501 yuan, an increase of 12.8% over the previous year, 67 times higher than that in 1978. In 2018, Qingshui town had 13 industrial enterprises and 31 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
It was called qingshuibao in ancient times and was under the jurisdiction of lesu County in the Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms and the Jin Dynasty.
During the northern and Southern Dynasties, Sui and Tang Dynasties, and from the Song Dynasty to the Yuan Dynasty, they were ruled by the Xianbei Nanqiang, Beiliang Mongolia, Uighur and other ethnic minorities.
In the Tang Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Fulu county.
In the Ming Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Gaotai County.
In 1729, qingshuibao was assigned to Suzhou.
In 1932, qingshuibao belonged to the Ninth District of Jiuquan County, and later changed to Hedong township. In September 1949, Jiuquan (Suzhou) was liberated and Hedong District governed tunsheng, Qingshui, fengle and xiaheqing.
In 1955, Qingshui township was established. The period of communization was changed into Qingshui Commune: during the period of "Cultural Revolution", it was named Hongguang commune.
In 1983, it was changed into Qingshui township.
In 1986, it was changed into Qingshui town.
In 2006, tunsheng township was incorporated.
