Nanyuan Street
Nanyuan street is located in the southwest of Rencheng District, Jining City, connecting with Yuehe street in the East and Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal in the West.

It was formed in the late Qing Dynasty and was called Xinzhuang street. Because it was in the south of the old city, it was renamed "nanxinzhuang" in 1934. In July 1948, it belonged to the fourth and fifth districts of Jining City and eight districts of Jining county. In 1950, it belonged to Yuehe District of Jining City and Qiaozhuang township of Jiaxiang County. In 1951, it belonged to the Second District of Jining City, Hui Autonomous Region and Qiaozhuang township of Jiaxiang County. In 1957, it belonged to Ethnic District of Jining City, Xuzhuang Township and balimiao township of Jiaxiang County. In 1958, it belonged to Chengguan commune of Jining City. In 1960, it belonged to Jiyang and Chengguan commune. In 1965, it belonged to Tanzhuang commune It was renamed Qianjin commune. It was a suburb commune in 1973, a ring office in 1984, nanxinzhuang Township in the same year, and Nanyuan town in 1994. In 1997, it covers an area of 6.7 square kilometers and has a population of 22000. The Jinan Heze railway passes through the border, with the old canal in the East, Zhaohe River in the north and Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal in the West. It governs 14 administrative villages including boguzhuang, beixiaozhuang, Sanlitun, zhongxinzha, Qiaozhuang, Niutun, Handong, Hanxi, Liuxing, Tanzhuang, Chengzhuang, Guozhuang, nanxinzhuang and duzhuang, and 10 neighborhood committees including DILIN, Nanyuan, bapuhou, Nanxin street, ji'antai, steel factory, yiliangku, fertilizer factory, paper mill and bogudong. In December 2000, Nanyuan town was abolished and Nanyuan street was set up as the administrative area of the former Nanyuan town. The office was stationed in the former Nanyuan town government.
