Magelesu town
Marelsu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Emin County in Tacheng Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Emin county. It is adjacent to regional sheep breeding farm and huojiert Mongolian nationality township in the East, Erdaoqiao Township in the south, erzhihe pasture in the West and Emin Town, jielagashi Township and yimule pasture in the north. The administrative area is 140.55 square kilometers.
In 1954, it was subordinate to the yemuleholin Mongolian Autonomous Region. In 1958, the Mongol Autonomous Region was abolished and the shock commune was established, with eight brigades under its jurisdiction. In 1978, it was renamed the maelesu commune. In 1984, the commune was withdrawn and the village of marelsu was established. As of October 2019, the town has 20 administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen in marelsu town was 9055 yuan. In 2018, there were 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in magelesu town.

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the sixth Sumu of Mongolian nationality.
During the "three districts" revolution period, it belonged to the Fifth District.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it still belongs to the Fifth District.
