Kansu town
Kansu Town, belonging to Xinyuan County, Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Xinyuan county. It is adjacent to Nalati town in the East and south, areletobei town in the west, and nilek County in the north, with a total administrative area of 374.2 square kilometers.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it became the fifth Township in the second district; in May 1984, it was founded as Kansu township. On July 13, 2016, Kansu township was withdrawn from the township and built into a town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town of 13816 was in the city. As of June 2020, Cansu town has four administrative villages.

History of construction
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it became the fifth Township in the second district.
In October 1958, it was a management area of Red Star commune.
In August 1965, the Red Star commune was divided into four, five and six brigades, and the commune farms and pastures to establish the May 1 commune.
In May 1966, May 1 commune was merged into red star commune.
In May 1984, the fourth, fifth and sixth brigades of the Red Star commune (areletobe commune) and the commune farms and pastures separated out, and Kansu township was established.
On July 13, 2016, the organizational system of Kansu Township in Xinyuan county was abolished and Kansu town was established, with its administrative boundaries, government residences and affiliation unchanged.
