Jianning Township

Jianning township is located in the northeast of Gaoping City, Shanxi Province. The township government is stationed in Jianbei village, 20 kilometers away from the urban area. It is adjacent to Shahe Village, Liyi Town, Lingchuan County in the East, changwan village, Beishi town in the south, Dashan Village, Heitupo village, shitanghui Village, Guanjia village, Chenqu town in the west, and Nanzhang village, Xihuo Town, Changzhi County in the north. The rural area is about 7.5km long from north to South and 4.5km wide from east to west, covering an area of 33.09km2. It has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villager committees, 21 natural villages, 64 villager groups, and 18296 permanent residents (2017). It was called Jianning people's commune in 1961 and Jianning Township in 1984. On May 3, 2013, Jiannan village Jidu temple was selected as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units; on December 9, 2016, Jianbei village was selected as the fourth batch of traditional villages in China; on December 15, 2016, Guozhuang village, Zhangjia village, Jianbei village, Goujia village and dongmiao Village were selected as the first batch of Green villages in China; on January 19, 2017, Jianbei village was selected as the fifth batch of historical and cultural villages in Shanxi Province. On December 10, 2018, Jiannan village, Lijiahe village and Guozhuang village were selected into the fifth batch of Chinese traditional villages list.

The geographical coordinates of Jianning township are 35 ° 50 ′ 25.04 ″ n, 113 ° 6 ′ 23.87 ″ e, with an altitude of 1000-1391 M.

topographic features

There are Cuiping mountain and Fengtou mountain in the south, Jinquan mountain in the north, nanyuxian mountain and beiyuxian mountain in the west, surrounded by mountains on three sides.

Climatic characteristics

continental warm temperate monsoon climate zone, strong monsoon, hot and rainy season, cold in winter and hot in summer, four distinct seasons. The maximum temperature is 32 ℃, the minimum temperature is - 18 ℃, and the annual average temperature is 9 ℃; the rainfall is mainly concentrated from July to September, with the annual average rainfall of 550 ~ 600mm; the frost free period is 165 days.

(1) S331 provincial highway level curve:

It was originally named Qinhui highway. It starts from Qinshui in the west, passes through Jianning Township and leads to Lingchuan and Huixian County in Henan Province. It was built in 1973 and is now upgraded to a provincial asphalt highway with a pavement width of 12 meters and a design speed of 60 km / h.

(2) Dong Jian Road:

It starts from Dongzhuang village in Beishi town in the South and ends at SuZhuang village in the north, passing through seven natural villages in Beishi and Jianning towns. In 1983, it was completed and opened to traffic, with a total length of 19 kilometers and a width of 7.5 meters. Now it is upgraded to a county-level asphalt highway.

(3) Connecting road from caojia to Yinxi Road:

It starts from caojia village of Jianning Township in the South and connects with Yinxi (Yincheng town to Xihuo town) tourist highway in Changzhi County in the north. The whole road section is a county-level asphalt highway, which is the north passage from Jianning township to Changzhi City.

Population situation

The resident population was 18296 (2017). Jiannan, Jianbei, Beishe, Guozhuang and Fudi are the villages with large population. there are 140 surnames, and the top ten of the population are: ① Li, about 2000; ② Guo, about 2000; ③ Zhang, about 1700; ④ Wang, about 1500; ⑤ Ji, about 1200; ⑥ Qin, about 800; ⑦ Niu, about 700; Ⅷ Su, about 600; Ⅸ Liu, about 500; Ⅹ Shen, about 500. There are also some obscure surnames, such as Ju, sang, Shang, Lang, Jie, Yue, Xue, she, Lian, Wei, Zhai, Du, Lian, yuan, Qi, Jin, Seng, Chi, Pei, Wu, Qing, Gou, Chu, Ping, Guan, Geng, Xing, Yang, Ge, fan, Li, Fu, Ren, Lu, Gou, Gong, Dou, Zhu, yuan, he, etc.

also known as Yuxian mountain, it is located in the west of Jianning Township and is the boundary mountain between Jianning and Chenqu. It is about 3.5 km long from north to South and 1.5 km wide from east to west, covering an area of 4.5 square kilometers. Jianning in the East, Diyang and shitanghui in the west, dongyaotou in the north and Daoping curve in the south. The two peaks of Yuxian mountain in the South and North are 1209 meters and 1211.3 meters above sea level respectively. There are shitanghui Grottoes in Dashan Village of Chenqu town on the top of the mountain, Fuyang academy ruins in the south of the mountain, and Fuxing temple in Jianbei village in the east of the mountain.

Jinquanshan

It is also known as woyun mountain, Guanling mountain, Qinling Mountain, jiujiangding mountain and BAOYING mountain. It is located in the north of Zhangjia village and is the boundary mountain between Gaoping City and Changzhi county. It starts from the south of Xihuo town in Changzhi County in the East and connects Longwang mountain in Chenqu town in the West. The main peak, Baoying mountain, is 1391.1 meters above sea level, the first peak of Gaoping. At the eastern foot of the mountain is BAOYING temple, Liyi Town, Lingchuan County (known as woyun temple in the late Qing Dynasty and Baolong temple in local people).

Cuiping mountain

The local people call it Nanshan, which is located on the Nanling of Jiannan village. On the top of the mountain is the Jidu Temple of Jiannan village. Shen Cuiping's father is Shen Liang, Shen Liang's first teacher is Guo Jun, Guo Jun's wife is Tian, Guo Jun's son is Guo Shaofang, Guo Shaofang's wife is Shen Cuiping, and Guo Shaofang's son is Guo Dong. According to legend, Guo Jun, the first teacher of Shen Liang, an official in the Ming Dynasty, died young. His mother, Tian, raised Guo Shaofang, a child in isolation, and suffered from all kinds of bullying and humiliation from his stepmother. Seeing that his mother's family was helpless, Shen Liang often helped her family. Considering the friendship of his teacher, he betrothed his daughter Shen Cuiping to Guo Shaofang to continue the fragrance of the Guo family. Guo Shaofang and Shen Cuiping got married as adults and gave birth to Guo Dong. However, Guo Shaofang also died young. Shen Cuiping took pains to bring up Guo Dong. He never remarried until he was 92 years old. According to the annals of Gaoping County, Shen and his mother-in-law Tian were famous chaste and filial women in the ancient town of Jianning. In order to commemorate Shen Cuiping, later generations renamed Nanshan as Cuiping mountain.

4. Fengtoushan

It is also called Fengshan, Fenggang and Nanshan. It is located in the south of SuZhuang village and Guozhuang village. It is the boundary mountain between Jianning Township and Beishi town. At the south foot of the mountain is the temple of plague in Beishi town.

5. Shamao mountain

it is located in the north of caojia village and huangwo village. The East Branch of Danhe river originates from this mountain.

DONGDAHE

It is also known as Pu River. According to the annals of Gaoping County, "the easternmost water is called Pu River, which comes from Shamao mountain in the northeast.". In the upper reaches of Dongda River, there are Babao reservoir and Sanba reservoir in caojia village. The river flows out of Jianning and into Liyi Town, Lingchuan County. Then it flows from zhaiping village of yongwan township to Gaoping Village and into Jincheng and into Danhe river through Shimei and Niuzhuang townships. Gaoping is 33 kilometers long, 5.35 meters wide, with a drainage area of 121.76 square kilometers and an average annual runoff of 4.58 million cubic meters.

7. Other water control projects

(1) Babao reservoir:

It is located 0.5km northwest of caojia village, a small controlled reservoir. It was built in 1958 during the Great Leap Forward period. At that time, eight villages took part in the construction. Taking the meaning of water conservation and water use in eight villages, it was named Babao reservoir. The dam is 60 meters long, 12 meters high, 3 meters wide at the top, with a maximum water storage capacity of 5000 cubic meters, a water surface area of 1000 square meters and an average water depth of 5 meters during the flood season.

(2) Sanba reservoir

: located 0.5km northeast of caojia village, it is a small flood storage project in winter. Construction started on March 8, 1959, and in order to carry forward the role of women's half sky, it was named Sanba reservoir. The dam is 100 meters long, 15 meters high and 10 meters wide, with a maximum storage capacity of 10000 cubic meters.

(3) Hejia reservoir

: located in the upper reaches of Hejia River, 0.5km north of Hejia village, it is a small control project. The dam is 90 meters long, 12 meters high and 3 meters wide, with a total reservoir capacity of 300000 cubic meters, a flood control reservoir capacity of 110000 cubic meters, an effective reservoir capacity of 180000 cubic meters, and a controlled drainage area of 1.1 square kilometers.

(4) Beishe undercurrent:

Located in the south of Beishe village and the West Bank of Jianning East River, it is an important irrigation and water storage facility for Jianning village and Beishe village. It is about 150 meters long and 20 meters wide, with an area of 3000 square meters. It has been dried up and damaged.

1. Jianning site

It is located on the platform in the South and north of Jianning village, the third batch of municipal key cultural relics protection units in Jincheng city. From the Paleolithic age to the Warring States period, the Paleolithic age is about 3 million years ago; from 475 BC to 221 BC, the Warring States period is more than 2000 years ago.

Dongmiao village site

Located in the northern highland of dongmiao village, it is a key cultural relic protection unit at Gaoping County level. The Neolithic age is about 14000 years ago.

Located in Guanling mountain to the north of Goujia village, it is a key cultural relics protection unit of Shanxi Province. It was during the battle of Changping (260 BC), more than 2200 years ago.

Located on the west side of the gate of Zhiji temple in Jiannan village, it is a key cultural relics protection unit of Shanxi Province. The carving date is the 20th year of Taihe in the Northern Wei Dynasty (496), more than 1500 years ago.

It was unearthed in Jianning village in 1985. Xiangfu Tongbao was made in the Xiangfu period (1008-1016) of zhaoheng Dazhong, Zhenzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, about 1000 years ago.

It was unearthed in Jianbei village in 1999. Zhenghe Tongbao was made in the Zhenghe period of Zhao Ji, Huizong of the Northern Song Dynasty (1111-1118), about 900 years ago.
