Bandier Township
Bandir Township, belonging to Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County in Kashgar region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County. It is connected with kukesiluk Township in the East, Waqia Township in the south, Tashkurgan Township and tiznafu Township in the west, taheman Township and qialong Township in aketao County in the North, and 2 meters away from the county seat of Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County 8 km, with a total area of 625.11 square kilometers.
Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was a township in Puli county. In February 1984, the bandir commune was changed into bandir township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the township was 2155. In 2019, bandir governs four administrative villages, and the people's government is located in bazhadashte village.
