AGUS Village

Aigus Township, belonging to Yingjisha County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Yingjisha county. It is connected with Wuqia town in the East, aktao County in the south, aktuzigou in the West and longfu Township in the north. It is 19 kilometers away from Yingjisha County, with a total area of 164.6 square kilometers.

In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), when Yingjisha set up the county, igus, Wuqia and sugeti (except tugeqi and tigan) became a yurixi; in 1984, igus commune was changed into igus township. History of construction

In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), when Yingjisha set up the county, igus, Wuqia and sugeti (except tugeqi and tigan) were a yurixi.

In 1936, yurixi was changed into a district, and aigus was a township.

In May 1950, when the township was set up, igus was under the jurisdiction of the five districts of tieweizi.

In 1953, six townships were set up in tieweizi District, and aitimuqiahe district (nine districts) was set up.

In August 1958, igus was the administrative area under the jurisdiction of Wuqia commune.

In December 1961, when the scale of the commune was adjusted, igus separated from Wuqia commune and established igus commune.

In 1966, AGUS commune was renamed anti revisionist commune.

In 1978, it was renamed aegus commune.

In 1984, aigus commune was transformed into aigus township.
