Shiyanqiao town

Shiyanqiao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Longchang City, Sichuan Province, is located in the southeast of Longchang city. It is named after shiyanqiao. It is adjacent to Rongchang District of Chongqing and Luxian County of Luzhou city. East of the Youfang mountains, the main peak is 665 meters above sea level. Yujian river runs through the whole territory. The terrain in the territory is high in the north and low in the south. Most of them are shallow hills, with a small number of deep hills and mountains. It has a subtropical continental climate with an average temperature of 17.50c and annual precipitation of 1050 mm.

On March 25, 2019, shiyanqiao town was awarded "the third batch of provincial forest towns in Sichuan Province".

On December 4, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the adjustment of some township administrative divisions in Neijiang City (Chuanfu civil affairs No. 11): Lishi town was cancelled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of shiyanqiao Town, and the people's Government of shiyanqiao town was stationed at No. 18 Zhengtong street.
