Alali Township, belonging to Shule County, Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Shule county. It is connected with yingawati Township in the East, Yingjisha County in the south, Aimu East Township in the West and yafuquan town in the north, with a total area of 123 square kilometers.
In 1954, the area around alali township was called alali district; in 1984, alali commune was changed into alali township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Al Ali township was 14435. In 2019, alali village governs 10 administrative villages, and the people's government is located in laidan Airike village.

History of construction

In 1955, the alali district was abolished and the upper part of the river was divided into Yafu spring district and the lower part into alafu district.
In 1964, the district system was abolished and alali was set up as an independent commune.
In 1965, alali commune was abolished and divided into yafuquan commune and alafu commune.
In 1972, one field, five teams of yafuquan commune and six teams of alafu commune re established alali commune.
In 1984, alali commune was changed into alali township.
