Kangsu town

Kangsu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Wuqia County, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Wuqia county. It is adjacent to heiziwei Township in the East, South and North, and wuheshalu Township in the west, with a total administrative area of 22 square kilometers.

By the end of 2011, the registered residence population in Kang Su town was 5837. In 2019, Kangsu town governs four communities and one administrative village.

History of construction

In 1958, Kangsu town was established.

In 1959, it merged with Kangsu iron and steel plant to establish Kangsu mining area.

In 1984, Kangsu mining area was cancelled and Kangsu town was restored.
