Sepabayi Township, subordinate to Aheqi County, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Aheqi County, connected with Wushi County in the East, Keping Township in the south, Aheqi town in the West and kuransarik Township across the river in the north, with an administrative area of 583.03 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in the township of the people's Republic of China was 3881. As of October 2019, sepabayi township has jurisdiction over three administrative villages.
In 2011, the GDP of SEPA Bayi township was 10.93 million yuan. The total financial expenditure was 5.17 million yuan. The per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen is 1943 yuan.
History of construction
In 1950, it was the fourth and fifth townships in the first district.
In 1958, it belonged to hulangshan commune.
In January 1962, sepabayi commune was established from kulansazrik commune, which has jurisdiction over 1, 2, 3 large commune and 1 commune pasture.
In 1969, it was renamed Dongfanghong commune.
In 1978, the original name of sepabayi commune was restored.
In September 1984, the commune was withdrawn and the township was built.
