Historical evolution
In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), Bulong, yasre Mu and wusikai Mu were set up, which were under the jurisdiction of Zhongxiao Township, 1 District of Baicheng county.
In 1950, three townships, aoyimaili, Bulong and wusikaimu, were set up under the jurisdiction of ristai district (District 1) of Baicheng county.
In 1956, when the districts and townships were merged, aoyimaili township was under the jurisdiction of Bulong Township and wusikaimu Township, both of which were under the jurisdiction of yatur district.
In 1958, the township was withdrawn and the commune was established. Bulong and wusikaimu townships established two administrative areas respectively, which were under the jurisdiction of yatur commune.
In October 1961, the two administrative areas were separated from the yatur people's Commune and merged into the town commune.
In February 1972, it was renamed unity commune.
In February 1980, Tuanjie commune 5-13 brigades and a ranch were still under the jurisdiction of Tuanjie commune, and the commune organs were moved from Baicheng town to otulabulong village.
When the township was established in October 1984, the United commune was changed into Bulong township.
