Hejing town
Hejing Town, subordinate to Hejing County, Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Hejing county government. It is adjacent to kelguti Township in the East, nemenmodun town in the south, halmodun town in the West and Baluntai town in the north, with a total area of 309.99 square kilometers.
In 1773, zabusu banner was stationed in Hejing town. In November 1963, it was renamed Hejing town from Hejing commune. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 48698. In 2019, Hejing town has 25 communities and 5 administrative villages, and the people's government is located in kaize road.
Grain crops in Hejing town are mainly wheat and corn; animal husbandry is mainly cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry; industry is mainly raw materials and food processing. In 2018, Hejing town has 485 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the 38th year of Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty (1773), four old turhute Mongolian banners in Nanlu were stationed in Hejing County, among which zabusu banner was stationed in Hejing town; in the 24th year of Guangxu reign (1898), it was named hetongsumu.
In 1927, King turhute built his royal residence (Kuike yamen), his dormitory and his subordinate flag offices in the area, and then built temples and other facilities.
In 1937, Hetong Sumu was destroyed by war.
In 1939, the city was rebuilt.
In 1950, it was renamed urban area.
In December 1953, Hejing Street office was established.
In December 1955, it was renamed bazaar town.
In July 1960, Hejing commune was established.
In November 1963, Hejing commune was renamed Hejing town.
