Aketikandun Township
Aktikandun Township, belonging to Qiemo County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Qiemo county. It is adjacent to qiawaledun Township in the East, bagairike Township in the south, kuoshsatma Township in the West and tatarang town in the north. It is 24 kilometers away from Qiemo County Government, with a total area of 123.84 square kilometers.
In 1958, the aktikandun brigade of barkairik commune and the iskewutak brigade of qiongkule commune were newly built in aktikandun township. In November 1984, aketikandun township was established. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the town of AI Ti Tong was 2823. In 2019, aketikandun township has five administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in aketikandun village.

History of construction
In 1958, the labor force was transferred from the communes to excavate canals for water diversion, open up wasteland and cultivate land in the area of aktikandun Township, and newly built aktikandun brigade of barkairik commune and iskowutak brigade of qiongkule commune.
In November 1984, aktikandun village committee was set up from barkairik, and iskowtak village committee was set up from qiongkule township.
