Yeyungou Township, belonging to Luntai County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Luntai County. It borders on korchu farm of Korla City in the East, Caohu Township in the south, cedaya Township in the west, Hejing county and Yanqi County in the north, 78 kilometers away from Luntai County, with a total area of 28.68 square kilometers.
In 1950, Yeyungou Township belonged to zedaya township. In June 1988, Yeyungou township was set up by zedaya township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the village was 3763. In 2019, Yeyungou Township governs three administrative villages: Yeyungou village, talek village and aketamu village, and the people's government is stationed in Yeyungou village. The main food crops in Yeyungou are wheat and corn, and the main animal husbandry is cattle, sheep and poultry.
In September 2019, Yeyungou Township Committee was rated as the national model of national unity and progress.
