Kumish town

Komeis, a town of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwestern part of Turpan, east of Turpan, and is adjacent to the town of edinhu, Turpan. It borders on Yuli County, and borders with Hexun County, and bordering the town of Borstein and Xia Town. The area is 7387.91 square kilometers in 2018, and the registered residence population is 598.

Kumish town was named after a silver eye atamaza in the past. Kumish is the variant of "kumushi", which means "silver" in Uighur. In 1984, kumish town was established. As of October 2019, kumish town has jurisdiction over kumish community, Kirgiz tiemi village and inbostan village.
