Touzha town

Pingluo County governs the town. In 1949, it was divided into two districts. In 1958, it belonged to the Yellow River commune. In 1961, it set up Touzha commune. In 1984, it set up a township. In 1987, it built a town. Located in the northeast of the county, 13 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 98 square kilometers and has a population of 14137 (2017).

It has jurisdiction over Touzha, Yumin, Yonghui, Honggang, Hongxing, Lixin, dongtongping, dongyonghui, xiyonghui, shaojiaqiao, 11 village committees in waihonggang and Touzha neighborhood committee. Township enterprises have dehydrated vegetables, bitter vegetable cannery and so on. Agricultural production of wheat, corn, sugar beet, rich in red and black melon seeds.
