Tonggui township is located in Yinchuan Plain, 1110 meters above sea level, in the eastern suburb of Yinchuan City, 17 kilometers away from the urban area. It faces yueyahu township of Xingqing District across the Yellow River in the East, Zhangzheng town in the south, Jingui town of Helan County in the West and North, with a total population of 17857 (2017).
