Xinlin town

Xinlin Town, belonging to Zhalaite banner of Xing'an League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Zhalaite banner. It faces Longjiang County of Qiqihar City in Heilongjiang Province across the river in the East, Bayan Zhalaga Township and arbengele town in the south, Bayan ulansumu Township in the West and GUANMENSHAN township of Zhalantun City in Hulunbuir city in the north. The area of new town is 723.86 square kilometers, and by the end of 2018, the number of registered residence population is 36162.

Before liberation, Xinlin town was under the jurisdiction of the eighth nutuk; after liberation, it was a part of hundahan nutuk; in 1956, it was divided into jianxinfa township; in 1961, Xinlin commune was established; in 1984, Xinlin township was changed; in 1986, it was withdrawn to build a town; in 2005, handahan township was merged into Xinlin town. As of June 2020, Xinlin town has 2 neighborhood committees and 17 village committees.

In 2017, there were 150 enterprises and 860 employees in Xinlin town; in 2018, there were 189 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Xinlin town.

Historical evolution

Before liberation, Xinlin town was under the jurisdiction of the eighth nutuk.

After liberation, it was a part of khandahanoutuk.

In 1956, Xinfa township was established.

In 1961, Xinlin commune was established.

In 1984, Xinlin township was changed.

In 1986, the township was removed and the town was built.

In 2005, handahan township was merged into Xinlin town.

Xinlin town has a maximum distance of 49 km from east to west and 42 km from north to south, covering an area of 723.86 square kilometers.
