Sahutong town
Sahutang Town, subordinate to Zaduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is 230 kilometers south of Jiegu Town, the capital of Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, bordering Yushu County in the East, angsai Township in the south, Zhaqing Township in the West and Zhiduo County in the north, with a total administrative area of 2439.03 square kilometers.
During the period of the Republic of China, sahutang town was the pasture of 100 households of Nacang and Bama under the jurisdiction of Nangqian. In 2000, the township was removed to build a town and renamed sahutang town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in SA Teng town was 8376. In 2019, sahutong town has 8 communities and 4 administrative villages.

Sahutong town is located between toraya mountain and Dongxuan mountain, along the valley of Zhaqu river of Lancang River. The northwest part is mainly high mountains, and the terrain is decreasing from northwest to Southeast.

Sahutang town has a continental plateau climate, with an average temperature of - 3 ℃ for many years. There is no absolute frost free period, and there is no obvious division of four seasons. There is only difference between cold and warm seasons. The temperature difference between morning and night is large, and the annual precipitation is 548.5mm.

History and culture
"Sahutang" is a Tibetan transliteration, "sahutang" means a stone cave where birds live, and "Teng" means flat beach, which is named after the fact that there are many wild birds around the beach.
