Sailaitang Town, belonging to Bama County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the northeast of Bama County. It is connected with Zhiqin Township in the southwest, duogongma Township in the northwest, make river in the northeast and jiangritang Township in the northeast, with a total area of 618.56 square kilometers.
Before the founding of new China, sailaitang town belonged to the MoBa tribe; in 2002, it was changed from MoBa township to sailaitang town. By the end of 2018, the population of Sai Lai Tang town registered residence was 2960. In 2019, sailaitang town governs 2 communities and 3 administrative villages.

History of construction
Before the founding of new China, there was a tribe called MoBa in the area of sailaitang town.
In 1957, MoBa township was established.
In 1960, it was changed into MoBa commune.
In 1962, it was renamed MoBa township.
In 1969, it was changed into MoBa commune.
In 1984, MoBa commune was renamed MoBa township.
In 2002, MoBa township was changed into sailaitang town.

Sailaitang town is located at the south foot of nianbao Yuze mountain and the West Bank of Mako river. Surrounded by mountains, it is low in the southeast and high in the northwest, with an altitude of 3530 meters.
