Qianhe Township
Qianhe Township, subordinate to Haidong citizen and Hui and Tu Autonomous County of Qinghai Province, is 65 kilometers south of Minhe County, with an administrative area of 70.6 square kilometers.
After the construction of the county, the township of Dehua was built in 1956, then it was replaced by the former Heung commune; in 1958, the former river commune was established; in 1984, the former River Township was set up; by the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in the front River Township was 13446; as at October 2019, 12 villages in the former River Township were administered.
In 2018, Qianhe township has 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
After Qianhe township was established, Dehua township was established.
In 1956, it was changed into Qianhe township.
In 1958, it was incorporated into Manping commune.
In 1961, Qianhe commune was established.
In 1984, Qianhe township was established.

As of October 2019, Qianhe township has 12 administrative villages: Fengyi village, Fenger village, wotian village, Shangwan village, Xiawan village, ganjiachuan village, Mangla village, mujiasi village, Tianjia village, Taiqi village, Qianhe village and zhangjiasi village.

Qianhe township is a shallow mountain area with one mountain and two gullies. The terrain is slightly higher in the West and lower in the East, with an altitude of 1800-2510 meters.

Qianhe township is located in the north temperate zone and belongs to the climate characteristics of continental plateau. The annual average temperature is 6.5 ℃, the extreme maximum temperature is 32.8 ℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is minus 28.7 ℃. The annual rainfall is 350 mm, and the evaporation is 1650 mm. The precipitation is mainly concentrated in June to September. The precipitation is less, the evaporation is large, and the climate is dry, which is not synchronized with the water demand of agricultural production.

In 2011, Qianhe township's agriculture was dominated by planting, with 17000 mu of arable land, 1.2 mu per capita, and a total agricultural output value of 18 million yuan. The main food crops were wheat, corn and potato, with a grain production of 7879.1 tons and 572 kg per capita, including 189.1 tons of Wheat, 7150 tons of corn and 540 tons of potato. The main economic crops were vegetables and rape, with a vegetable planting area of 500 mu and an output of 1450 tons; Rape covers an area of 700 mu, with an output of 35 tons; animal husbandry mainly focuses on raising pigs, sheep and poultry, with 3120 pigs and 1680 on hand at the end of the year; sheep 13080 and 5900 on hand at the end of the year; poultry 6210 and 3200 on hand at the end of the year.
