Lijiashan Town, subordinate to Huangzhong District of Xining City, Qinghai Province, is located in the northeast of Huangzhong District, adjacent to Jingyang town of Datong County and Haizigou township of Datong County in the East, dabaozi town of Chengbei District of Xining City in the south, lanlongkou town in the west, Niangniang mountain (Jin'e mountain) in the north, with an administrative area of 145 square meters.
By the end of 2018, Li Jiashan had 26633 registered residence population. As of October 2019, the town of Lijiashan had 1 communities and 32 administrative villages, and the town government was located in Li Jiashan village.
In 2018, there were 8 industrial enterprises in Lijiashan Town, and 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In September 1958, Lijiashan commune was established.
In August 1984, it was changed to Lijiashan township.
In March 2001, Lijiashan town was established.

Lijiashan town is located in the northeast of Huangzhong County, adjacent to Jingyang town and Haizigou township of Datong County in the East, dabaozi town of Chengbei District of Xining City in the south, lanlongkou town in the west, Niangniang mountain (Jin'e mountain) in the north, 55 kilometers away from the county seat, 25 kilometers away from the downtown of Xining City, with an administrative area of 145 square kilometers.

Lijiashan town is divided into three kinds of terrain: plain, shallow and brain. The terrain in the town is high in the north and low in the south, presenting a belt like terrain of "two mountains with one river". The highest point is caoxia of Niangniang mountain, with an altitude of 4132 meters; the lowest point is Yatou village, with an altitude of 2359 meters.
hydrology
Lijiashan town originates from Xianglin gorge of Niangniang mountain, with an area of 164.6 square kilometers. It is one of the important tributaries of Huangshui River and the only water system in the town. In 1978, the "2708" project with yunguchuan reservoir as the center was built, with a total storage capacity of 7.68 million cubic meters, a total length of 89.77 kilometers and a cultivated land area of 45000 mu. It is a free aid project of the United Nations.

Lijiashan town has a continental plateau climate, characterized by indistinct four seasons, large temperature difference between day and night, average annual temperature of 3 ℃ - 5 ℃, frost free period of 130-140 days, annual precipitation of 450-500mm and evaporation of 850-900mm.
Mineral resources
Lijiashan town is rich in silica resources, which is the main raw material for the production of silicon carbide, industrial silicon and ferrosilicon. Due to its high grade (more than 99% silicon content), convenient mining and large reserves, the local silica ore has proved reserves of 600 million tons.

Niangniang mountain scenic spot in Lijiashan town is 30km away from the center of Xining City, with an altitude of 2824m, and the main peak of jiajiaxia is 4132m above sea level. The scenic spot has 7000 mu of natural forest, beautiful mountains and waters, and pleasant scenery. It has a Yungu reservoir with a water storage capacity of 7.6 million cubic meters and a water area of 200000 square meters.
