Dengshahe street, belonging to Jinzhou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Jinzhou District, adjacent to Xingshu street in the East, Yellow Sea in the southeast, Dalijia street in the south, liangjiadian street in the West and Huajia street in the north. The Qing Dynasty belonged to jinzhouting MPF society. During the period of tsarist Russian occupation, it belonged to guojialing administrative region of Kanto province. During the period of Japanese occupation, it belonged to Changling Temple society and jiangjiabaozi society in Pulandian. In the autumn of 1945, Dengshahe district was established, belonging to Xinjin County. In April 1946, it was transferred to Jinxian county. In 1950, Dengshahe district was renamed the Sixth District. In 1955, it was renamed Dengshahe district. In 1956, the township was divided into jiangjiabaozi, Qigan and Dengshahe. In 1958, the three townships merged to form Dengshahe commune. In 1983, Dengshahe commune was transformed into Dengshahe township. In 1984, Dengshahe township was transformed into a town. In February 2002, Dengshahe town was changed into Dengshahe street. At the end of 2011, the total population of the district was 44121, including 9483 urban permanent residents, with an urbanization rate of 21.5%. As of June 2020, Dengshahe street has 16 administrative communities under its jurisdiction. The office is located at 9 Zhengyang Street.
