Xile Township
Xile township is located in the southwest of the county, adjacent to chengjiashan Township in the East, Lucheng city across the river in the south, lihou town in the north and Shangyao town in the West. It used to be the smallest of the nine townships (towns) in Licheng County, with a length of 8.7 km and a width of 4.6 km. The total area is 25.9 square kilometers. After the reform and opening up, attracting investment and developing economy, it soon became a strong industrial township and a big economic Township in the county. There are 7231 permanent residents (in 2017), with a total economic income of 35.92 million yuan and a per capita income of 3845 yuan.
Historical evolution
According to Ming Hongzhi's Licheng county annals, there is a baby temple in the southeast of the county. So it's named Luci mountain. In the Ming Dynasty, six of the 27 villages in Zhangyuan township of Licheng were Xihe, Donghe, Zhaodian Town, Baiyang, dongshuiyang and xishuiyang. According to the annals of Licheng County written by Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, there are 17 villages in Zhangyuan Township, including Dongwang, Dongluo, Baiyang, Zhaodian, dongshuiyang and xishuiyang. According to the records of Licheng village by Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, there are 73 villages in Zhangyuan Township, including 7 villages in Xihe, Donghe, Zhaodian Town, Dongwang, dongshuiyang, xishuiyang and gedao. According to the records of Licheng County in 1935, there are 101 villages under the jurisdiction of the District, including Zhaodian Village (126 households, 682 people), dongshuiyang (including gedao, 106 households, 718 people), xishuiyang (101 households, 584 people) and Xiluo (including Dongluo, 178 households, 845 people). Dongwang village is subordinate to dongwa village. In 1936, there are 91 main villages in Licheng County, including four villages, namely, Xiluo (Dongluo), Zhaodian, dongshuiyang (gedao) and xishuiyang. Dongwang is still the main village of dongwa. During the war of resistance against Japan and the war of liberation, most of the villages in the area under the jurisdiction of the second district. Since the founding of the people's Republic of China, the whole county has been divided into townships, and Xilou is still one of them. In December 1961, Xi'an was separated from Chengguan commune and established Xi'an People's commune. In May 1984, the commune was renamed Xiang. Xi'an is one of the 17 townships (towns) in the county. In 2001, the county was merged into nine townships (towns), and Xile township is still one of the nine townships (towns). Under its jurisdiction, there are seven villagers' committees, namely, Xihe, Dongwang, Donghe, Zhaodian, gedao, dongshuiyang and xishuiyang.

The climate in the territory is warm, with an annual average temperature of about 10.4 ℃. January is the coldest, with an average temperature of - 4.7 ℃ and an extreme minimum temperature of - 22 ℃; July is the hottest, with an average temperature of 23.7 ℃ and an extreme maximum temperature of 38.3 ℃. The annual average frost free period is about 190 days, and the annual average rainfall is 534.8 mm, mainly concentrated in July, August and September, accounting for 70% of the annual rainfall. The annual average wind speed is 2.2 m / s, and the maximum wind direction is northeast wind.
physical geography
The terrain of Xiluo township is relatively flat. It is adjacent to mountains in the East and West, and flat in the middle. There is Zhuozhang River alluvial beach in the south, with an altitude of 700 to 800 meters. In the west, Zhuozhang River turns from Shuiyang beach to the East, and in the East, Xiaodong River passes through from north to south.

Local products include jujube, peanut, walnut, persimmon, apple, pear, etc. the main crops are: wheat, corn, millet, soybean, etc. In 2003, 49 hectares of trees were planted, 44000 trees were planted, and the total forestry income was 128 yuan. 866 pigs, 21000 poultry and 600 rabbits were sold in the year. The total output of meat was 100 tons and that of eggs was 45 tons.

In 2003, the total power of agricultural machinery was 4714 kW, including 131 tractors and 1 combine harvester.
