Yeliguan town
Yeliguan Town, belonging to Lintan County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Lintan County, adjacent to Bajiao Township and Yangsha Township in the East, South and North, and kangduo Township and qiagai Township in Zhuoni County in the West. The area is 117.54 square kilometers. In 2018, 10959 people registered residence.
From the end of 1949 to 1957, it was under the jurisdiction of the Fourth District of Lintan county (Yeliguan). In 1958, after the merger of Lin and Zhuo counties, Yeliguan commune was established, and the area around pyowa and Bajiao was under the jurisdiction of Yeliguan commune. In 1962, after the separation of Lin and Zhuo counties, they were still called Yeliguan. In 2002, the township was removed and the town was built. In June 2020, Yeliguan town governs one community and nine administrative villages.
In 2018, Yeliguan town has 6 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
From the end of 1949 to 1957, it was under the jurisdiction of the Fourth District of Lintan county (Yeliguan).
In 1958, after the merger of Lin and Zhuo counties, Yeliguan commune was established, and the area around pyowa and Bajiao was under the jurisdiction of Yeliguan commune.
In 1962, after the separation of Lin and Zhuo counties, they were still called Yeliguan.
In 2002, the township was removed and the town was built.

In June 2020, Yeliguan town governs one community: Yeliguan community, nine administrative villages: Houshan village, Hongjia village, Gaozhuang village, Pengjiazhuang village, Ganggou village, Dongshan village, Baozi village, Chigou village and Guanjie village, and the town people's government is stationed in Guanjie village.

Yeliguan town is located in the northeast edge of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau and the western part of the Qinling fold belt. Its geological structure is complex. It is the transition zone between the Hercynian geosynclinal fold belt of the North Qinling and the Indosinian maogeosynclinal fold belt of the South Qinling. The overall landform is hilly and mountainous with erosive structure, and the terrain is flat. The terrain is divided into hills and mountains. The main mountains are Jiangjun mountain, Daling mountain and Baishi mountain. Baishi mountain, the highest peak in the territory, is located in the north of Yeliguan Town, and Xiaxia gorge, the lowest point, is located in the southeast of Yeliguan Town, with an altitude of 2219 meters.

The annual average sunshine hours are 2291.8 hours. The annual average precipitation is 521.7mm. The extreme annual maximum rainfall was 654.7mm (1984), and the extreme annual minimum rainfall was 341.3mm (1991). The rainfall is concentrated from May to September every year, with the most in July.

The rivers in Yeliguan town belong to Yemu River, Chigou River and banjiagou River, of which Yemu River covers an area of 1328 square kilometers, accounting for 87%. The total length of the river is 7.3 km, with a total runoff of 190 million cubic meters. The largest river in the territory is Yemu River, which flows from west to East through hongjiazhuang village, Pengjiazhuang village and Guanjie village, with a length of 25 km. The main tributaries are banjiagou River, Xiaohe River and Chigou river.
