Douba Town, belonging to Kang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Kang County. It borders on anmenkou town in the East, dianzi Township in the south, Pipa town and Huangping town in Wudu District in the west, and nianba town in the north. It is 24 kilometers away from Kang County, with a total area of 105.78 square kilometers.
Before 1949, Douba town belonged to Jing'an township (now nianba); in 2014, it was changed from Douba township to Douba town. By the end of 2018, the population of bean dam town registered residence was 7296. As of June 2020, Douba town has 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Douba town is stationed in Douba village.
The main food crops in Douba town are corn and wheat; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep, cattle and poultry. In 2018, Douba town has one industrial enterprise and six comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Before 1949, it belonged to Jing'an township (now nianba).
After 1949, it was Yuyue Township, belonging to Jichang district (anmenkou).
In July 1952, it was changed to the dam rolling area.
In September 1955, it was changed to Douba township.
In December 1958, dianzi and Douba townships were merged into Douba commune.
In June 1961, dianzipian was designated as Douba commune.
In October 1983, it was restored to Douba township.
In 2014, Douba township was changed from township to town.
