Dongduan Township
Dongduan Township, which belongs to Bazhou City, Langfang City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Bazhou, and is connected with the Yanfen port town. The town is located in Shengfang Town, the west is near Xinan town, and the north is two Li Town. The area is 63.67 square kilometers. Up to 2018, the registered residence population is 46217.
Originally in Jinwu county. In 1949, it was assigned to the Fifth District of Baxian county. In 1952, a mutual aid group was established. In 1961, Dongduan commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to Dongduan township. In 1996, xinzhanghe township was incorporated into the city. As of June 2020, 35 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of the eastern rural areas.
In 2018, there were 913 industrial enterprises in Dongduan Township, including 37 Enterprises above Designated Size and 128 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In 1954, the junior society was established. In the same year, Dongduan township was built, and then it was divided into four townships: Dongduan Township, Majiabao Township, shijiabao Township and Hejiabao township.
In 1956, it belonged to niuwanxiang.
In 1957, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into Dongduan township.
In 1958, Dongduan commune was established. In the same year, it was incorporated into Dongfeng commune in Tang'erli.
In 1961, Dongduan commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed to Dongduan township.
In 1996, xinzhanghe township was incorporated into the city.

History and culture
Because the Township People's government is located in Dongduan village. It was built in the Qing Dynasty. Originally, a family surnamed Zhang lived here. There were three pieces of land in his family. According to the location of his residence, they were named the east section, the middle section and the west section. His residence was located in the east section, so it was named.
