Chiba Township
Chiba Township, belonging to Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Wudu district. It is connected with Maying Township in the East, Puchi Township in the south, Xinzhai Township in Dangchang County in the West and Caoping Township in Lixian County in the north, with a total area of 44.89 square kilometers.
In March 1950, Chiba township was under the jurisdiction of Anhua district; in December 1983, Chiba commune was changed into Chiba township. By the end of 2018, the population of Chi Ba Township registered residence was 6189. As of June 2020, Chiba village has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Chiba village.
The main food crops in Chiba township are broad beans and potatoes, and the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and poultry. In 2018, Chiba township has 18 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In March 1950, it was Chiba Township, belonging to Anhua district.
In March 1958, Chiba township was merged into Cuifeng township; in October of the same year, Cuifeng commune was established; in November of the same year, Jinchang commune was merged.
In June 1961, it became Chiba commune.
In December 1983, Chiba commune was transformed into Chiba township.
