Liangshui Town, belonging to Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Wudu district. It is connected with Chengguan town and Chengjiao Township in the East, tieba Township in Zhouqu County in the south, Shimen and pingya Township in the west, and Puchi Township in the north. It is 12 kilometers away from Wudu City, with a total area of 171.83 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, Liangshui town belonged to liangshuili; in July 1985, it was changed from Liangshui town to Liangshui town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in two towns was 30888. In 2019, Liangshui town governs 3 communities and 20 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Houcun community.
In 2018, there were 12 industrial enterprises in Liangshui Town, including one above scale and 35 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to liangshuili.
The first year of the Republic of China (1912), for the first two water. In 1933, it was changed into the former two water towns. In 1941, it was changed to Liangshui village.
In July 1950, it was divided into Liangshui Township and Yueshi Township, belonging to Liangshui district.
In June 1956, Liangshui Township and Yueshi Township merged into Liangshui township.
In October 1958, Liangshui township was changed into Liangshui commune; in November of the same year, Puchi, Jinping and Shimen communes were merged.
In June 1961, Liangshui commune was divided into Shimen, Puchi, Jiaogong Jinping and Liangshui commune.
In December 1983, Liangshui commune was transformed into Liangshui township.
In July 1985, Liangshui township was transformed into Liangshui town.
In April 2004, Jinping township was merged into Liangshui town.
