Puma Town, subordinate to Min County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Min County, with Lujing town in the East, Shendu Township in the south, Hetuo Township in the West and Zhangxian County in the north, covering an administrative area of 279.2 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, Pu Ma town had 30542 registered residence population. As of June 2020, 28 towns were under the jurisdiction of Pu Ma Town, and the town government was in Pu Ma village.

History of construction
In 1912, it belonged to dadongxiang.
In 1949, Pu Ma Township was set up under the jurisdiction of Hongya district.
In 1954, Pu Ma district was established.
In 1958, puma commune was rebuilt.
In 1961, Dazhaizi commune was established from PUMA commune.
In 1969, Dazhaizi commune was merged into puma commune.
In 1983, it was changed to puma township.
In 2000, it was changed to puma town.
