Jiangpan town
Jiangpan Town, subordinate to Zhouqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the north central part of Zhouqu County. It faces Dachuan town across Bailong River in the East, Nanyu Township in the south, Chengguan town in the west, and Bailong River across the county in the north. The area is 30.58 square kilometers. In 2018, 5513 people registered residence.
In 1937, it returned to Xigu county. In 1949, the township directly under Yangshan was restored. In 1958, it was merged into Chengguan commune and became the administrative region of Henan Province. In 1961, Jiangpan commune was established. In 1965, it was incorporated into Chengguan commune. In 1979, Jiangpan commune was restored. In 1983, it was changed to Jiangpan township. In 2018, the township will be changed into a town. In June 2020, 8 administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Jiangpan town.
