Dongquan Township
Dongquan Township, subordinate to Zhangxian County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Zhangxian County, adjacent to Wushan County in the East, Min County in the south, caotan Township in the west, Xinsi town in the north, with an administrative area of 137.58 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, there were 10838 registered residence population in East Spring Township. As of June 2020, 9 administrative villages were in the countryside of Dong Quan, and the township government was in Han Chuan village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Dongquan township was 410000 yuan, an increase of 2.6% over the previous year; in 2018, Dongquan Township had three comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In September 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of neng'an Township, Xinsi district (the Second District).
In November 1955, it was established in Dongquan township.
In May 1966, Dongquan commune was rebuilt.
In February 1984, it was divided into Dongquan and Hanchuan.
In 2005, the two townships were merged into Dongquan township.

The highest peak is at tianyeliang in Yanzhi village, with an altitude of 3500 meters; the lowest point is at Hewan community in Yanzhi village, with an altitude of 1720 meters.

Heilin River, Heihu River and Yanzhi River in Dongquan township are tributaries of Bangsha River, flowing through benbenwan, tusimen and Yanzhi villages, with a total length of 40 km.
Mineral resources
The proven underground mineral deposits in Dongquan Township include andalusite and gold mine, of which the reserve of andalusite is more than 40 million tons, and the gold mine has been mined by Zhangxian Jindi Mining Co., Ltd.
