Fuxing town

Fuxing Town, subordinate to Longxi County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Longxi County, connecting Mahe, tonganyi and Yuntian towns in the East, Shouyang town in the south, Dexing and kecha townships in the west, and Xiangquan town in Anding District in the north, with an administrative area of 311.29 square kilometers.

By the end of 2018, Fuxing town had 35727 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Fuxing town had 19 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of the township government.

History of construction

In May 1950, Fuxing and Luhe townships were established.

In April 1953, the hotel and Xinping Township were added.

In October 1955, the four townships were merged into Fuxing Luhe and Xinping townships.

In March 1956, it was merged into Fuxing and Luhe townships.

In May 1959, the two townships merged to form Fuxing commune.

In July 1983, it was changed to Fuxing township.

In March 2001, it was changed to Fuxing town.

In June 2004, Zhonghe Township and Gaoyu town merged into Fuxing town.
