Guo Yuanxiang
Guoyuan Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Zhenyuan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Zhenyuan County, adjacent to Chengguan town in the East, Pingquan town and Xincheng town in the south, Pengyang County of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the West and kaibian town of Wugou Township in the north, with a total administrative area of 137.33 square kilometers.
In 1949, it was the hometown of guojiayuan and was subordinate to kaibian district; in December 1983, Guoyuan commune was changed into a township. By the end of 2018, the household registered residence in the township was 17454. In June 2020, Guoyuan has jurisdiction over eight administrative villages.
In 2018, Guoyuan Township achieved a GDP of 168.56 million yuan, an increase of 7.5%; a total agricultural output value of 98.04 million yuan, an increase of 7.3%; a total grain output of 18420.91 tons, a per capita grain output of 1079 kg, and a per capita disposable income of 8063 yuan, an increase of 9%. 6.5 million yuan in fixed assets investment, 2.48 million yuan in project funds, 5300 person times of labor transfer, and 80 million yuan in labor income. In 2018, there were 11 industrial enterprises in Guoyuan Township, including one above scale and two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1949, it was the hometown of Guojia and was subordinate to kaibian district.
In April 1956, Maojiazhuang and guojiayuan were merged into Guoyuan township.
In March 1958, when the district was withdrawn and the township was established, it was merged into kaibian township.
In June 1961, Guoyuan commune was established.
In December 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
