Yun Tongxiang
Yuntong Township, Santai County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province has a total area of 23.22 square kilometers. The township governs 8 administrative villages and 1 town residents committee. In December 2019, with the approval of Mianyang Municipal People's government, Yuntong township was abolished and its administrative region was put under the jurisdiction of Xinlu Town, which is located at No. 1, South Ziyang Avenue.

Yuntong township is located 28 kilometers northwest of Santai County, 50 kilometers away from Mianyang, with beautiful mountains and rivers, pleasant scenery and simple folk customs. With an administrative area of 23.22 square kilometers, it has jurisdiction over 8 villages, 1 community neighborhood committee, and 4 farmers' professional cooperatives including guanghuishan Tongzi, Junnong vegetables, sijichun green pig and Xiangyang reservoir planting. The characteristic industries include 6000 mu of high-quality grain and oil industry base, 800 mu of high-quality lotus root demonstration plot, 400 mu of high-quality walnut demonstration belt, and 3400 mu of characteristic economic forest shantongzi.
Evolution of organizational system
In 1771, a nunnery named Laojun nunnery was built in Jinchang town. In 1875, the first year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, Laojun temple was established in the town of Yunlong. At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of kuijin Township, west of 28 townships in Santai County. Kuijin township was located in suhechang (now Qianfeng town). In the 9th year of the Republic of China, kuijin Township set up Shangxiang tuanlian and Xiaxiang tuanlian respectively, and kuijin Shangxiang tuanlian was stationed in Yunlong Town. In 1877, yincongziyakou was established and named tongdechang after the meaning of "one heart, one virtue". According to legend, in the early years, a deaf man surnamed Yin opened a shop in Yakou. In the past, there were a lot of business customers, and then gradually formed a market. At the beginning of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of kuijin Shangxiang. In the 24th year of the Republic of China, Yuntong joint insurance was set up. It is named after Yunlong Town and tongdechang town. in the 29th year of the Republic of China, the new county system was adopted, and it was changed to Yuntong township. After liberation, it was still in use. In 1951, the land reform was completed and the democratic government was established. Set up cloud fellow townships and Tongde townships. In 1958, it was changed into Yuntong commune and Tongde commune. It belongs to Jinshi district. In 1984, it was restored to Yuntong Township and Tongde township. It still belongs to Jinshi district. In 1992, Yuntong township was merged into Xinlu town and Tongde Township into Jinshi town. In 2000, Yuntong township was separated from Xinlu town and set up as Yuntong township. in 2019, the township will be merged and the township will be optimized. With the consent of Sichuan Provincial People's government, Yuntong township was incorporated into Xinlu town.
