Miaoqu town
Miaoqu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zhenyuan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Zhenyuan County, adjacent to Mengba town in the East, kaibian town in the south, Maqu town in the west, Sancha town and Fangshan Township in the north, with a total administrative area of 178.07 square kilometers.
In April 1956, it was subordinate to Sancha district; in May 1966, it was divided into Miaoqu Commune by Maqu commune; in December 1983, it was changed to township. In 2019, Miaoqu township will be replaced by Miaoqu township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Miao Town was 19245. In June 2020, Miaoqu town governs nine administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Miaoqu town was 1.71 million yuan, an increase of 10.8% over the previous year. In 2018, Miaoqu town has 12 industrial enterprises and 25 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1949, it was named Miaoqu township.
In April 1956, it belonged to Sancha district.
In March 1958, the district was removed and the township was built; in September of the same year, the district was abolished.
In September 1959, it was the Miaoqu brigade, belonging to the Maqu commune.
In June 1961, Miaoqu commune was established.
In January 1965, it was abolished and belonged to Maqu commune.
In May 1966, Miaoqu commune was set up by Maqu commune.
In December 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
In 2019, Miaoqu township will be replaced by Miaoqu township.
